The Church names human dignity, the common good, subsidiarity, and solidarity as the permanent principles at the heart of this teaching; the universal destination of goods, participation, concern for the poor, peace, and care for creation unfold from them. Charity does not replace justice. It requires justice, it alone makes us capable of it, and it reaches further than justice alone can go. That is why the summit is a civilization of love and not merely a just order.La Iglesia nombra la dignidad humana, el bien común, la subsidiariedad y la solidaridad como los principios permanentes en el corazón de esta enseñanza; el destino universal de los bienes, la participación, la atención a los pobres, la paz y el cuidado de la creación se despliegan a partir de ellos. Is the tool neutral?¿Es neutral la herramienta?

The artifact, considered in itself, may be morally neutral: a hammer, a model, a phone. But the design, the incentives, the ownership, the deployment, and the social consequences are moral questions from the beginning, not only when the tool is used. Technology is not morally neutral in its effects.El artefacto, considerado en sí mismo, puede ser moralmente neutral: un martillo, un modelo, un teléfono. Technology is never an end in itself. It is a human act embodied in artifacts, institutions, and systems. Its morality depends not only on how it is used, but on why it is designed, who controls it, whom it serves, and what kind of people and society it forms. AI should augment human intelligence, not diminish human dignity. AI may assist, but it must never replace conscience, critical thinking, truth verification, or the human person's responsibility before God.La tecnología nunca es un fin en sí misma. Es un acto humano encarnado en artefactos, instituciones y sistemas. Su moralidad depende no solo de cómo se usa, sino de por qué se diseña, quién la controla, a quién sirve y qué personas y qué sociedad forma.
